Supplemental ERAS application 101 webinar for applicants

The Association of American Medical Colleges® (AAMC®) hosted an informational 60-minute webinar titled, “Supplemental ERAS application 101” for 2022 residency applicants (US MD, DO, and IMG’s). The Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) is offering a new and free supplemental application, for the 2022 recruitment cycle, designed to help students share more about themselves and assist program directors in finding applicants that fit their programs’ setting and mission. During the webinar, AAMC staff provided an overview of the supplemental ERAS application, timeline of when the application will be available to applicants, introduction of a new Supplemental ERAS® Application Guide (which will include list of application questions and content fields), updated frequently asked questions, and list of programs participating in the supplemental ERAS application.
