Established in 1701 the Marsh Library was Ireland's first public library. Through the years it has housed numerous collections and CityWide paid a visit to check out their current one entitled 'The Marvels of Science'. Showcasing seventy rare books from the Scientific Revolution, including one from our own countryman Robert Boyle, the Marsh Library is doing its bit to highlight Dublin's fascination, engagement and relevance in all things Scientific. Although 2012 saw Dublin become the 'European City of Science' the exhibition is ensuring that Dublin is continuing on its legacy into 2013.
