Fly Fishing the Bob Marshall Wilderness

I got the opportunity to fly fish the Bob Marshall wilderness in July of 2021. We rode in on horseback to the confluence of the south fork of the flathead river and then did a full float trip down to the meadow creek takeout. It was incredible fishing full of westlope cutthroat trout, whitefish and bull trout. We Euro nymphed and dry fly fished. I was able to average 68 fish per day 9 days of fishing. 101 fish was the biggest trout day. It was a memorable trip that will haunt my dreams and quiet thoughts for the rest of my life.
