On Monday 28th of January the Tweed coast was hit by Ex Tropical Cyclone Oswold, with winds reaching peak gusts of 140km and a 29 metre wave recorded of Fingal Head early in the afternoon everyone was caught of guard by the storms strength. This is a quick edit from the most insane weather to hit the Tweed Coast in a very long time. I went out for a couple of hours to film what was happening down at my local break.
Most shots were on 5dmk3, 50mm, 16-35 and 100-400 with a few hand held shots on my 7d with 100-400 hiding under a bush trying not to get blown away, when i was using my tripod i was virtually sitting on it to get something of a still shot.
