This silent installation video series was created as part of a collaborative research for WETLANDS project, directed by Karen Harvey. It looks at water's inability to adhere to physical boundaries, with it's essentially pervasive yet changeable form. It functions as a documentation of the particular locations where each international dance artist happened to be during the summer of 2012.
Videos by: Karen Harvey (Mount Tremper, NY), Elisa Vazquez McCoy (Berlin, Germany), Silvia Balvin (Costa Del Sol, Spain), Anna Asplind (Sweden), Jin Ju Song-Begin (Korea), Lina Puodziukaite (Lithuania) and Emily Athena Abrahams (Oregon, USA).
WETLANDS project considers the impact of destroying Wetland ecosystems (swamps, marches ect.) and their role in filtering pollution out of our natural environment.
