January 27, 2013. Boise River, Boise, Idaho.
The second part of this 52-week project (wildlensinc.org/blog/category/52-week-project/) I started in the beginning of January 2013 is a 12-month video project. I will be shooting video clips of wildlife every month of 2013. These clips can be of any wildlife species, but have to be a minimum of 30 continuous seconds, and a species cannot be used twice. On the first of every month, I will upload my best clip(s). Things have been slow to start out (I'm desperately trying to complete my Master's Thesis in Raptor Biology before March 15th), but for future months, I hope to have a highlight reel of multiple 30-second shots to show everyone. This first month features a pair of Hooded Mergansers I found along some backwaters on the Boise River. Stay tuned for much more next month!
