It might not seem like a big deal to you or even myself, but to the adults at my church, this was a HUGE thing.
The Vietnamese Community has been at St. Theresa for a long time now and honestly, we've never really felt "settled". Everytime the Vietnamese community had an event, we'd have to dismount the picture of the Holy Martyrs, and set it up, then break it down afterwards.
Today, January 31st, 2013, the picture has found its permanent place in the church. Not only does this represent the picture being permanent, but also the Vietnamese Community feeling a sense of belonging and feeling settled.
Thank you to my dad for telling me about this before school. Luckily my gear was packed and I had 1 fully charged battery. Shot this by myself, and pretty much put this quick edit out. Recently, I've been shooting and editing all in the same day to get it out of the way before school. Seriously going to do my HW right after this. It's been a hectic year so far, but I'm excited to release future edits.
