In honor of how far New Orleans-- our beautiful city -- has come by hosting Super Bowl XLVII, I think's it's a appropriate to reflect.
I remember reading Chris' column about the re-opening of the dome in September of 2006. I remember how Chris--like he often--does is able to put words to emotions that people feel, even if you weren't there.
How he described those beautiful moments after Steve blocked that punt.
So, about a year ago, when we were doing a shoot with Steve, I thought it would be neat for him to read an excerpt of the column about that memorable night and magical play.
Since, it's now the Super Bowl and New Orleans is its beautiful self for all to see, I think this passage, these two men are worth watching. Currently, Steve's voice is not as strong as it was one year ago.
There is no background music, because if you know Steve or you've heard of him, to hear his voice -- and only that--is music.
Find a quiet space if you love New Orleans. No distractions.
Just Steve's voice and Chris' words.
