Audiovisual exploration of a dark hidden world. Alien structures, surfaces and patterns - different, but strangely familiar.

This 3D animated short was created on the basis of real microscopic images, used either as inspiration for the sculpted models or directly as textures inside the materials. It is an interpretation of a microscopic hidden world, that we as humans only see through extreme magnification - but is always around us and can deeply influence our being.

Everything you see and hear was created by me in 2021 with financial help of a scholarship by "Hessische Kulturstiftung".
