This video-narrative animation revolves around the idea of simulation and takes as its starting point the action plans that are activated in emergency situations. With the use of my voice I combine, in a kind of synesthetic way, colors and sounds. I alternate a present-tense, first-person story and the description of a simulated evacuation and events that would occur if the evacuation was real, thus contrasting reality and hypothesis. At the end of the video I sing a song of my father (he is a music therapist) that propose to use music to cure all fears. Here I’m interested on the one hand in the power of the voice and the narration for constructing images in the minds of the audience, and on the other the need of rehearsal choreographies to act in real life.
