For my final lab assignment in my Lighting 2 course at Full Sail University, I was part of a team of five other classmates and we were tasked with creating a short movie using only still photos. This is what we came up with. This is similar to my other project, "The Mule", only this time we could use color photos, voiceovers, and sound effects to help drive the story The main emphasis of this project was to focus on proper lighting design and scene composition.
This was created for the January 2013 term. All shots were taken on the Canon t3i. Lenses used were the Canon 18mm-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, Canon 18mm-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, and Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lenses.
Very little photo editing was done in post. Most of the shots are straight out of camera.
Pieced together with Final Cut Pro 7.
Voiceovers recorded with a Zoom H4N microphone and Adobe Audition.
Sound effects from a royalty free library provided by classmate Ivan Antonio Diaz.
Music selection - "Truth and Lies (Orchestral Version)" by X-Ray Dog.
