Generations of physicians and those still in school felt called to testify in support of a measure at the Hawai`i State Legislature which would fund the work of the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence, a healthcare educational loan repayment program, the `Imi Ho`ōla Post-Baccalaureate Program and the promotion of expanded primary care medical training in Hawai`i.
