Shimmer Lake is the acoustic duo of Laura Peters and Amy Davis, based in Ithaca, NY. This video records a four-song set they played for the Dream Catalyst Benefit Fundraiser, which was held Dec 1, 2012 at the Unitarian Church in Ithaca, NY.
They played two original songs by Laura Peters (Movin' On, Adirondack Moon), as well as covers of Kate Wolf's Green Eyes and Dougie MacLean's "Deepest Part of Me".
This was a two-camera shoot, each camera recording at 1080p. Editing was done in Sony Vegas 11 & made heavy use of camera-to-camera cuts/zooms/pans to keep it visually interesting.
This was a volunteer project for Ithaca's PEGASYS Public Access TV Station.
