I set up my Canon Rebel XTi in my front window, which overlooks Broadway in South Boston at about 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8. The camera is on auto exposure, connected to my iMac, and I used the built-in Image Capture utility to capture one image every 15 seconds and save to the Mac. At the time I made this video, there were about 10 gigabytes worth of images--just under 5,000. I use the free app Zeitraffer (http://bit.ly/Y0bII0) to convert the 4,937 still images into a MOV file and then used iMovie to create the finished product.
