The design for the 26th Annual ARIA Awards called for a fresh approach just as distinctive as the Australian music industry they represent. Under the stewardship of Creative Director Brent Grayburn, Cutting Edge Sydney’s design team delivered a fresh new look for the 2012 Awards. Drawing from the existing ARIA logo the team developed a string of vibrantly coloured and angular animations that emulated the energy of the awards, whilst still giving a sense of elegance. With opening title animation aptly setting the scene for the night, a 3D fly through of logo sends pieces cascading through the screen, in a neon explosion driven by the underpinning sound design.
