This video shows you the experience of going on safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park in South West Uganda. Queen Elizabeth is the second largest national park in Uganda and the most popular. It's diverse range of landscapes from lowland forest to wetlands and savanna provide a home for lions, elephants, buffalo, antelope and over 600 species of bird!
The video includes a cruise along the Kazinga channel - a 40km stretch of water that joins Lake George to Lake Edward and is absolutely teeming with wildlife. Crocodiles, kingfishers, hippo, buffalo and elephants coming down to drink at the waters edge can be seen.
The video features an encounter with lions - both male and female and then takes you on a mini tour of one of Queen Elizabeth's finest lodges - Engazi lodge.
