Another great session at Ellwood Mesa.. this time the wind was stronger, about 12-14mph, and it allowed me to do some fun flying using one of Ellwood's many bowls as a natural amphitheater.
I've made a number of minor mods to my 17oz (480g) Le Fish and the net result is that it's flying better than ever, despite the fact that it's quite old (18mo now) and very beat up. The changes include a pull-pull elevator arrangement borrowed from BPLR's famous Madslide and control horn hardpoint reinforcements using thin fiberglass plate.
