As U.S. forces have exited Iraq and continue to drawdown in Afghanistan, the future role of U.S. ground forces is not yet clearly defined. At the same time, resources are becoming increasingly scarce. What should U.S. ground forces be able to do in the future? How should they be organized, trained, equipped, and stationed to meet those demands? Please join us for the launch event of our Ground Forces Dialogue as we kickoff an ongoing, web-based conversation on many of these and other pressing challenges facing U.S. ground forces.
The Ground Forces Dialogue is an initiative of the Harold Brown Chair in Defense Policy Studies at CSIS that is aimed at expanding the policy conversation about challenges facing U.S. ground forces over the next decade. The Dialogue will include live events as well as web-based video and audio interviews and original analysis around a series of issues. More information about how to participate will follow shortly.

With the generous support of Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems
