A short film I edited.

Corporal Mick Flannigan discovered by chance, in the midst of a World War II battle, that his enemy was a man very much like himself. The only significant difference was the flag he fought under. What may have been the start of a friendship at another time in world history was destroyed by the war almost as quickly as it was discovered.
Mick shared very few of his war experiences with his own children. By the time his great-grandchildren were old enough to understand, what little he did share had become fallen memories. All that survived was a small collection of memorabilia and a worn photo of a Japanese soldier and his family - a photo with an untold story.
