Timmy is magnificent. He has lush long soft fur, a bushy tail, big chunky paws and gorgeous green eyes. My first impression is that he looks a lot like a Norwegian Forest Cat. Who knows? He stayed in his tent the whole time but was friendly all the same. You'll see from his story here northlondon.cats.org.uk/northlondon/adopt-a-cat/timmys-story/ that it seems Timmy is grieving since his person passed away. He's very quiet at the moment. While he clearly got a lot of pleasure from being stroked, he said nothing and didn't purr but from his enthusiasm, I wouldn't be surprised if he's the chatty purring kind of chap once he's himself again in a new home. You can meet Timmy at North London Cats Protection any day but Tuesday or Thursday. The adoption centre is open Saturdays 11am-5pm, Sundays 11-4pm. You can just drop in at 135 Junction Rd London N19 (a five minute walk from either Archway tube or Upper Holloway overground stations) or get in touch first on 0207 272 6048 or at northlondon@cats.org.uk. You can find out more about adopting here : northlondon.cats.org.uk where you'll find the rest of the week's opening hours.
