This is from the February 12, 2013 Q&A Webinar for Make The Cut!
Please NOTE: MTC Version 4.4.0 is used for the demos given in this Webinar.
MTC 4.4.0 was officially released February, 2013: Versions of MTC after MTC 4.1.0 WILL NOT work with PC machines even if you have the plug-in file for those machines
You can find the forum thread where Andy introduces the new features in MTC 4.4.0 here: forum.make-the-cut.com/discussion/30840/make-the-cut-version-4-4-0/p1;

00:00:00 Welcoming Remarks
00:00:45 Follow-up questions on SusanBlueRobot’s Demo in the 02/05/13 MTC Webinar on creating a box file with side panels. Users wanted to know how she determined what size to make the inset shadow to create the side panels. Bryan notes it was simply done “visually,” whatever Susan thought “looked good”
00:03:10 2nd question on Susan’s Demo from 02/05/13 Webinar – How did Susan determine where to place the trapezoid
00:05:57 2 Users wanted to know why their “thumbnails” were not always showing the actual MTC file image instead of the MTC logo when they went to the “open file” dialog box in MTC. Bryan explains that this is a “Windows File Explorer” issue in that it hasn’t always “built” the thumbnail views and explains how to make sure it is showing them
00:14:30 Switch to Andy, MTC Developer, for him to demonstrate some of the new features and fixes in the latest release of MTC 4.4.0. Andy first gives a basic explanation as to why he created the features in 4.4.0 of MTC

Andy indicates he will work to make those videos “downloadable”
00:23:47 Andy explains the “parameterize” function (wrapping to a path) and then explains that with MTC 4.4.0, a user can now not only WRAP any OBJECT but that now you can also WARP any OBJECT. Andy basically said to think of it as Bezier Warp on steroids! He notes that most programs limit you to wrapping text but that with MTC, you can wrap text OR any object. Now with MTC 4.4.0, you can not only Wrap but also WARP the object to the path.
NOTE: When trying to “wrap an object to path” be sure that you are holding down the “Control Key” as you drag the text or object over the shape to be wrapped to.
