A Free Gentle Restorative Yoga Class
In September 2020, I had the great opportunity to participate with Linda Worster, Mirabai Bush, and Jai-jagdeesh on this online event produced by Blessfest — An Evening of Alchemy, a donation event to raise money for Gwen's Girls in Pittsburgh. blessfest.org/
Something special happened during the class. A hummingbird visited while I was leading breath awareness practice towards the end of the class. If you like to see it, it is at time marker 39.21 after I said, “ Become aware of the cycle of breath.”
Class duration: 48min
Yoga practice offers us a gateway into a journey of intimacy with ourselves. When we show up on our mat for practice, we are consciously choosing to create space for self nurturing and deep listening. As we move to the sound and rhythm of our breath , we create a bridge between the physical and mental bodies. I hope through this gentle practice, you can relax and take the time to be with your body and breath.
