Sundial is an ongoing project started in 2003 to record the daily rhythms of cities. Every hour, I make surround-sound audio recordings from one location (usually a roof) in a city. Later the recordings are edited together to form a short (8-9 minute) piece. We hear the soundscape changing as the clock ticks through24 hours, midnight to midnight.
This version was made in Brussels in 2010. Thanks to Vermeir / Heiremans. This is a stereo version.
