The 1960's was a Decade as prolific as any other in Human History. Many say that The Generation of The Sixties was The Last Generation to lose its innocence. A Decade that began with such high hopes, ended with a bitter War and divisiveness between Generations. It was a decade that gave birth to Civil Rights, Women's Rights, Consumer Protection, Environmental Protection, a Counter-Culture that invented a New Music, Fashion, Language. Science that propelled Us to a Landing of Man on The Moon and New Frontiers of Medicine. American Youth traveled across the Third World to launch The Peace Corps, while America and Russia stared each other down the barrel of Nuclear Annihilation. And one blinked. It was The Summer of Love and all across the Nation, a NEW Generation made its Voice heard, from Flower Power in San Francisco, to Students For a Democratic Society on The Streets of Chicago. It ended tragically, with The Martyrdom of Three of its most Hopeful Voices.
