Meet Jeni and Charly. They're fierce supporters of Ohio heritage farms and dairies and consider it a privilege to sell their 30+ handcrafter flavors of ice cream at the North Market.
What's their recipe? Organic, grassfed Ohio dairy, prepared simply and flavored with the freshest local ingredients and responsibly raised exotics. Be sure to ask what's new and what kind of unexpected flavors Jeni is concocting next (and be sure to ask for a sample or two).
Their inspiration? Her grandmother's garden and art studio, her own backyard and pastry chef's pantries around the world.
Their latest adventure? Working directly with a small farm in Uganda to source fairly traded beans for her Ugandad Vanilla Bean ice cream.
Where can you find them? Under the vermillion and white Jeni's sign, next to Lac Viet Market. Serving salty caramel ice cream by the taste, scoop, and pint, every day.
