Area9 is the company behind McGraw-Hill Education's adaptive learning solution LearnSmart. Just recently, McGraw-Hill announced that it acquired a 20% stake in the Danish company.
Ulrik has a background in medicine and has worked for over 20 years on building teams to fix the gaps in helping people learn and has been assembling teams that are dedicated to finding a better way of delivering training and education. With his latest company Area9 he and his team create software technologies to personalize learning on a global scale and to break down cost of such solutions, thus to make adaptive learning more affordable and efficient.
