Roma - L’Eternità - The Extended Cut
During the ‘70s and ‘80s, a luxury commercial meant: white marble on exotic locations, strong silhouettes captured through a golden filter, off sync ad libs to an electronic soundtrack, while in the edit the cross-fade ruled. Seemingly endless budgets resulted in commercials that left an everlasting imprint in the mind of the viewer.
As an homage to these timeless ads I present to you ROMA – L’Eternità. Please share the glow of advertising as it once was.
As the sun rises over ancient Rome an empress awakes, awaiting the emperor’s return from his never-ending conquest of the North. Touched by the morning light, as she hopes to hear the marching in of a victorious army, her beloved emperor finally steps out of the shadows.
