UBC Engineering Physics 253 Robotics Challenge
Team Pwnage Video Report.
This report is intended to be a record of our team's work in the Physics 253 robotics course offered at the University of British Columbia. Our team competed in the 2009 challenge, Rescue Bots. We had to design a robot that was capable of following lines then getting up a ramp, tracking an IR beacon and then finally, saving a doll from the bottom of a cliff. We had 6 weeks to build this robot from scratch using the high-tech resources such as the TINAH board and the water jet cutter, available at the UBC Engineering physics project lab.
We completed the first round successfully. However, we could not proceed any further due to some technical problems. But we gained a lot from this course overall and hence we still feel like winners.
Team Pwnage sends out thanks to
Andre Marziali, Jon Nakane, Bernhard Zender
the Lab TAs
We also wish to thank the sponsors and everyone who made this course happen.
