A strange - unusual, completely original art piece used to create a memorable and remarkable Ad. Inspired by the work of the painter Arcimboldo.’ Using choreographed dancers to express ‘pain.’ The film was intended to be an abstract expressionist representation of all types of pain - and the relief Ibuprofen can bring to ease it. The film is a particular ‘tour de force’ of creativity as it was shot without any digital post production. And if you look closely the whole of the story is told by the choreographed action of the dancers - all told in one shot - with a lighting change ‘mid take.‘ So every single element and nuance of dance - camera - and lighting had to be perfect during each ‘take.’ The film was shot by Barney Edwards for Graham Fink and Dave Waters at Gold Greenless Trott. And with Rick Wentworth's clever interpretation of the music track from Kubrick's ‘Full Metal Jacket’ the film won many awards.
