An early mesh test of the fluid I will be using to simulate liquid chocolate. The flow speed feels a little fast and the fluid is way too liquid. To counteract this I will be increasing the fluids Viscosity, surface tension and most likely make some adjustments to the initial speed. The first big problem I had was that by using just the circle emitter all I would get for the pour was a cylinder shape. To fix this i ended up going back into Maya and making a small chute that will not be in frame and having the emitter emit directly into the chute from above. This gave me a nice pouring flow. My second big problem came from not having enough particles but that was solved by simply increasing resolution from 1 to 20. I may increase resolution later if I feel that the bowl needs to be filled more. By increasing the min substeps from 1 to 100 I was able to stop the particles from leaking through the chute and by placing a Kvol Daemon at the top of the Chute I was able to speed up simulation time by killing off the particles that were being pushed up over the top of the Chute.
