Mesotherm is a multifunctional platform providing effective treatment of wrinkles, hyperkeratosis, acne and enlarged pores, thickened skin, hyperpigmentation marks, stretch marks, scars and baldness.

Mesotherm uses 5 different technologies for a 3D tissue rejuvenation: Microdermabrasion, Vacuum, Monopolar Radiofrequency, Needling and Electroporation.

The Microdermabrasion system involves a flow of chemically inert corindone crystals (aluminium oxide) which are projected onto the skin by a compressed air system. The crystals transfer their kinetic energy to the cells in the first dermal layers, removing sebum and corneocytes. Microdermabrasion is suitable for all phototypes, including IV, V and VI, that should not undergo chemical peeling and laser resurfacing treatments.

Mesotherm Monopolar Radiofrequency acts by increasing the temperature in the dermis thanks to the so called Joule effect. When the tissue is heated above 60-65°C, the collagen fibre is thermally denaturised and contracts, smoothing out the superficial wrinkles and immediately tightening the tissues. The long term effect of this induced heating process is the production of new collagen.

Electroporation involves the local application of short, intense electrical impulses, which makes cells more permeable to the active ingredients, thanks to the temporary formation of pores on the plasmatic membranes. A true needleless injection which, depending on which product is used, has a biostimulating (e.g. vitamin and amino acid), draining, liporeduction action, etc.

Needling is a dermatological regenerating technique. The microscopic punctures caused by the needles free growth factors (cytokines) and inflammatory induction factors (limphokines) into the epidermis, and in the dermis they free oxygen from the red globules and cell stimulating factors for platelets. The needling technique strongly tightens the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and improving scars, stretch marks and laxity in general.
