Basil Moore was an activist in the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa. As a Methodist Minister he introduced the concept of Black Theology to South Africa (following a trip to the US and meeting the man who developed the concept - James Cone) which had an enormous impact on many black and white South Africans. He and his family were victimised by the Government, Basil was placed under house arrest and then ultimately exiled. After moving to the UK he and his family moved to South Australia where he became a highly respected educationalist. This is a short extract.
