Our speaker for our third Vocational Ministry Framework Lecture is Dr. John M. Templeton, Jr. (Jack).

Dr. Jack Templeton is President and Chairman of the John Templeton Foundation. Dr. Templeton earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and later trained in pediatric surgery under Dr. C. Everett Koop at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After two years in the Navy, he returned to CHOP to serve as a pediatric surgeon. He retired in 1995 and began directing all activities at the Templeton Foundation. He is the author of two books, including Thrift and Generosity: The Joy of Giving.
