In the early part of the 20th Century novelist Jack London’s popularity was worldwide. But in 1897 when he was 21, Jack’s dream of becoming a successful writer and marrying his childhood sweetheart hung by a thread. Unemployed and penniless, Jack travels to the “Golden City” of Dawson Alaska joining three fellow prospectors in hopes of striking it rich. What he found instead were arctic adventures, a new sense of purpose and his voice as a writer.
