This was my son Tyler's first day wading in the local wading pool. He is there with my wife, my parents, and me holding the camera. Forgive me, the entry is a bit long and repetitive (4mins), but it is adorable.
This was also my first day testing out my new Canon Vixia HFs100. And my first time EVER shooting and editing HD. Please, forgive the lackluster editing, I did this in 20 minutes. Still getting used to the camera, I almost solely used the automatic feature, no manual adjusting. The Optical Image Stabilization is good, BUT when a camera weighs as little as this puny thing it's a lot harder to hold it real steady. Also, I have already noticed the noise in low-light situations, I would hope for better results from an expensive camera, so I'm still might reconsider. The biggest draw back of this camera is the lack of an electric view finder. Can I really get used to that? Not sure. Other than those things though, the good is this, great color quality, incredibly intuitive design and menu features, flash memory, small, huge lense, much larger than average sensor, etc.
