Siegfried Meir has been dragging a trauma along with him since he was very young indeed. At nine years of age he was deported to Auschwitz concentration camp. Knowing him today, at the age of 76, it is indeed undeniable that he has had a successful life, good fortune and popularity. Still, however much he may have broken with his past, there are emotional scars that can never heal. These are wounds that could grow, even mutate into horrible fears and terrors, and the terror could give birth to monsters – Siegfried Meir’s monsters. Monsters are not necessarily dangerous if you know them and keep them in hand, and Siegfried has been an absolute master of the art. He has learned to coexist with himself and been able to win over anyone willing to listen to him.
