Beautiful patterns created when looking through an infrared camera at an ice-cube melting in boiling water.
This was filmed as part of the education outreach project of Invisible Wave, a project from art/science organisation Invisible Dust, curated by Alice Sharp. Space Scientist Dr Hugh Mortimer spoke to Year 9 students at Hounsdown School in Southamption, whilst artist Phil Coy worked with the students to create a one-minute, in-camera science-fiction film.
