I decided to design a brushless gimbal for the Sony Nex-5n. Since the motor bearings are rated at more than 10 times the camera in static load capacity. Instead of the typical double support, I opt for a single arm support. This makes for a light/strong yet very simple mounting. The motors in this video have no stators installed, they are for balance and bearing testing. This gimbal will use the Turnigy 5014 pancake style motors when installed.
