To activate eircom’s sponsorship of the GAA Football All-Ireland Championship we created a digital strategy around the insight that GAA people see themselves as custodians of the games. Generations pass this heritage on through storytelling which is a vital part of GAA culture.
GAA Football Championship history has never been collated online and was always in a number of different sources so the strategy saw eircom bringing this together in a specially created ‘Timeline‘.
The timeline encourages users to relive their classic matches, goals & heroes, while they can also submit their favourite moments to win tickets to upcoming matches. We also delivered a site, facebook page with moderation, YouTube channel, advertising and content repackaging.
