I'm pleased and nervous to finally present this music video for my song “Crack Pot” off my upcoming record Ting Tong. It's about how my Dad is a conspiracy theorist, and even though I think that a lot of what he passes on to me is sort of crazy, I kind of end up believing it anyway. I think most people do the same with their parents' views, be it political or religious, but most of us don't want to admit that's the case.
Crack Pot was randomly shot by friends, family & strangers all over the world over the last three years. I never asked anyone's permission, had no lights, or crew or anything. Even though it was sort of embarrassing, I would just start rapping wherever - on a ferry in the East River or at The Vatican. Other locations include: Seattle, Los Angeles, Paris, Budapest, Iceland, Jordan, Monaco, Palm Springs, Dublin-that's the one with the big dog. There's tiny snippets from Nicaragua and The Dominican Republic as well as some old performance footage and random shots of a few of the other folks involved with the record. Hope you like it!
