An hour long documentary about a fascinating and little known chapter in Michigan History. Thousands of artifacts were removed from burial grounds throughout Michigan over a 30 year period in the late 1800s. The Artifacts - made of copper, slate and clay - contained mysterious writing and symbols as well as depictions of biblical scenes. Called out as frauds by experts of the day, the artifacts were forgotten and rediscovered several times - finally ending up with the Mormon Church before being returned to Michigan's Historical Museum in 2001. Interviews with archeologists and independent researchers who have very different interpretations of the value of the artifacts. Produced By BPS Video thru EyeWonderMedia.
