The next Maison d'être party is on 15 February 2014, themed SENSE OF TASTE: facebook.com/events/1450363975187025
After a first successful edition of fund raising party 'Maison d'être' themed 'the sense of smell' we return with a second edition themed 'the sense of sight' on the unique location of the Floating Pavilion (Drijvend Paviljoen) in Rotterdam!
THE GOOD CAUSE The floating spheres in the Rijnhaven came to life during the fund raising party on the 23rd of February 2013. The Rotterdam's initiative 'Hotspot Hutspot' was in the spotlights this evening. This initiative focusses on involving local teenagers in cooking delicious meals for local residents under the supervision of chef Bob Richters. All of the profits of the second edition of Maison d'être will go to Hotspot Hutspot.
THE EXPERIENCE Entering the Floating Pavilion is an experience itself, but there is more to be seen. Besides being able to party on a wide variety of electronic music, you will be emerged in a surreal environment filled with several (interactive) visual installations. Art will be created in front of you while you enjoy a nice drink and one of the many interesting and entertaining talks about the sense of sight.
