Round 1 is a Japanese video game arcade chain, with over 100 locations in Japan. They opened their first arcade in the United States in 2010, in City of Industry, California.
I went down there in March 2013 after hearing that SEGA were location testing a couple of Project DIVA Arcade units. Since this machine has never been released outside of Asia, and was only going to be at Round 1 until mid-March, it provided a unique opportunity for Project DIVA and Vocaloid fans to try out this game, which is an elaborate port of the popular PSP rhythm-action series.
Round 1 is a large-ish arcade with about 160 machines - many of them hard to find anywhere else in North America. It also houses a full bowling alley, six karaoke rooms and more UFO catchers (AKA those 'crane machines') that I'd care to count.
This is a brief video showing a few of the things you can enjoy at the arcade.
