This is footage taken from the beautiful country of Iceland. I traveled there with a good friend in September of 2012 and toured the Southwest section. Our travels took us through vast, varied and ruggedly beautiful landscapes - to geysers and hot springs, raging rivers and some amazing waterfalls. Much of the land was shaped by volcanic eruptions and carved out by glaciers. Hope you enjoy it!
Footage was shot with a Canon 7D and a Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L
Music is by the Iceland band Bloodgroup. The song is "Dry Land."
The footage of the landscape sequentially falls in this order: Snaefellsjokull Glacier, town of Olafsvik, Reykjavik harbor, the black sand coastline and Reynisdrangar rock formations in the town of Vik, Gullfoss Falls, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall and Skogafoss Waterfall.
