This film was shot in 1993 and completed in 1997. It was shot entirely in my vegetable garden. I filmed the life cycle of the garden, from May through November. Images are put to a constructed soundtrack that includes vocal ensemble, Tibetan singing bowls, Latin Mass, Buddhist chant, and natural sound. The garden is seen as a sacred place, and a metaphor for the natural cycle of all life.
