The early Christ followers met together every day. They spent an inordinate amount of time together and we are told that they did so with "glad and sincere hearts". There is a saying that reads "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." I don't know the moron who penned that one but I think they were completely wrong. Abscence makes the heart forgetful is all. Proximity is what makes the heart grow fonder. This Sunday we will focus on the promotion of community groups and our need for glad and sincere fellowship with each other, through a proximity mindset.
