At the Heart - Molten (2012)
One of an 18 film video art commission, the "Molten" triptych abstracts the steel making process into a paralel representation of planetary creation. Directed by Mark Cumming and shot by Italian cinematographer Tobia Sempi, highly challenging industrial environments were explored visually to communicate the intense power and beauty of the molten metal.
The film is displayed in a permanent installation in Seoul, South Korea. The state of the art screen on which it is presented is 24 metres wide, contains 44,000 pixels, runs at 16k resolution all complemented by a 36 channel Iosono audio system.
