With a scheduled opening day of June 1, progress has been steady on construction of Bowling Green's new $3.8 million aquatic complex at Bowling Green City Park. The complex will have four separate bodies of water and a splash pad. Both the filter building and bathhouse have been closed in and much of the piping has been installed.
With warmer weather more concrete will be poured at the site. Voters approved a bond issue last March to pay for the project.
