My first foray into animation, very hastily done. 'Bad History' is about how the art and heritage industries (museums, curators, writers, restorers etc) exploit the objects in their care- consumed and digested, taken out of context, they get confused and confusing. The images I have chosen are from magazines (Art Quarterly, that sory of thing), and go from the end of the 20th century back to early civilisations.
Charcoal and collage on lino cut printed background.
Inspired by William Kentridge and Monty Python. Music is 'Cayenne' from the Beatles Anthology 1.
