In my never ending quest to never stop learning I built on last weeks piece. The area I focussed on is my materials in cinema 4d and text effect animation in After effects. I learned that when you add noise to the bump channel of a material and animate the object the materials effect/texture seems to move across or with the object. Almost as if it's a very loose skin sitting on top of the object. I look forward to playing with more layers and channels in the material editor of Cinema 4d.
Second thing I'm obsessed with is animating the hue and colors of text in After Effects. Combining this effect with the layers mode has been a lot of fun. It's really amazing who many unexpected effects you can create from changing your layer modes.
